ASU Engineering Announces the Return of the Six Sigma Master Black Belt Program

Arizona State University is thrilled to announce the revival of its Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) program, set to commence in April 2025. After a hiatus since 2019, this advanced certification program is making a much-anticipated comeback, demonstrating ASU's commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

The MBB program at ASU is designed to elevate experienced, certified Black Belts to the pinnacle of Six Sigma expertise. Participants will gain the advanced technical knowledge and strategic leadership skills required to drive significant improvements and lead change initiatives within their organizations. The program emphasizes innovative thinking, problem-solving, and practical deployment, equipping participants to become indispensable members of their organization’s leadership team.

The program is led by Lisa Custer, a distinguished Six Sigma Master Black Belt, ASU Instructor, and Sr. Director at Beckway. Lisa will be joined by Douglas Montgomery, Dan Shunk, Mickey Mancenido, Dan McCarville, Jim Boblett, and Clayton Taylor to guide participants through the intricacies of Six Sigma methodologies, ensuring they emerge as capable and confident leaders in their respective fields.
