COCO‐LIFE
Yulishyah Putri Daulay, Indonesia
In order to increase Plampang 1 Village's economy and welfare, and to support the development of tourism in the village, COCO-LIFE trains unemployed women to turn coconut husks into coconut crafts, unique and high quality crafts that include Coco Potty, Coco Pillow, and Coco Doll.
We believe that the best way to empower unemployed women is by providing them a place to increase their creativity and productivity. By doing this, COCO‐LIFE will also directly help the coconut farmers in Kulonprogo to reduce the amount of coconut husk waste by collecting it and selling it to our business to be used as raw materials.
