PHINIX

Pamela Nicol E. Mejia, Philippines

PHINIX is a textile recycling and upcycling center that collects textile waste, such as old clothes from homes and fabric scraps from factories, and transforms them into higher valued products such as footwear and accessories. PHINIX aims to be the pioneer textile recycling center of the Philippines. As we scale up, our goal is to have a PHINIX Textile Recycling Center in every ASEAN country.

We are a fashion social enterprise that aims for the triple bottom line - for the planet, for the people, and for profit. At present, our goal is to reduce textile waste in the households, garment factories, and fashion brands in Manila, transform them into higher valued products, and sell these new products at profit.
