Overview

The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering created a series of professional certification programs to develop a highly technical workforce in the most in-demand areas of computing. We are offering these Professional Certifications in Computer Science to address the global demand for industry-related professionals.

Students will benefit from a deeply engaging learning experience with real-world projects and live expert instruction. Earning a Certification

To meet the requirements for a certification, you must:

    • Complete nine graduate credit hours from the courses approved for each certification
    • Earn a grade "B" or higher

    Obtain Credits Towards Your Degree

    Earn Credit Towards a Degree Icon

    The Master in Computer Science program allows MasterTrack™ Certificate coursework to count as part of the requirements towards your chosen degree program—provided the course grades are a “B” or higher and are completed within the last three years at the time of admission.

    All coursework taken before the start of a degree program is subject to approval by the Program Chair and Graduate College. An admission application is required to be considered for a master’s program and must meet all other admission criteria in order to be eligible.


    Requesting Your Certification

    Upon completion of the final certificate course with the required grade, participants may request their professional certification in Computer Science by completing the request form. Participants will receive a printed copy of their certificate within four weeks of submitting their request.
